Driving down the road from the ferry port to the Križić saddle
and the city of Cres one of the first settlements you come
across is Dragozetići. The settlement is located 279m over seal
level and is well protected from the unpleasant gusts of the
north-eastern wind. The parish church in Dragozetići, finished
in the 19th century, keeps valuable art pieces like the
renaisance marble poliptych from the 15th century and the
relief of St. Marija holding the Child. Bauxite was once dug
out in the area of the nearby settlement of Filozići.
